The Batson Children's Hospital is not allowed by state law to advertise for itself. Unlike the 'world famous' hospital in a neighboring state which has a huge advertising budget, Batson hospital doesn't enjoy such a luxury. Therefore, it is up to each of us to tell others about Mississippi's only children's hospital & encourage it's support.
The 2009 MS Miracles radiothon was held February 25-27. Jackson area radio stations that participated were MIX 98.7 FM, US 96.3 FM, Y 101.7 FM & Jubilee 780 A.M. This year's radiothon was different with only the 3 local FM stations doing remotes from the lobby. Heather's Mom did an interview with Scott @ V 93.5 in Meridian via internet video. That was nice but not nearly as nice as having Scott there & talking to him. It was much less personal doing it it this way. The phone banks were not on site this year, they were at some off site location. The lack of phones ringing & constant chatter made for a quiet room. And with only 3 radio stations on site the overall "mood" in the lobby was much less entergetic & enthusiastic.









The 2008 radiothon was held March 5 - 8. This year there were new radio stations joining the effort!








2005 MS Miracles Radiothon Thanks to everyone who called in a donation to the 4th annual MS Miracles Radiothon for 2005. Over $200,000 was raised for the Blair Batson Children's Hospital.
